Crit-IQ is an online resource containing all of the latest information in the world of critical care. The resource will appeal to all levels of clinicians and can be accessed by paying a yearly subscription fee.

 

ICM Case Summaries provides a catalogue of interesting cases written by ICM trainees in the UK

St Emlyn’s is a virtual hospital developed by educationalists based at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

 

The ESICM provides information on upcoming conference and events. The eLives platform provides webcasts and videos of recent conference presentations. Online e-modules are available through the ESICM academy. A blog and an extensive resource section; divided into clinical topics is also available. Membership of the society is required to access some parts of the site.

The Intensive Care Network is an education and networking site from Sydney that includes a clinical and radiological case series, podcasts, blogs, exam resources and links to RSS feeds.

 

The ANWICU knowledge site - contains links to knowledge talks, archives of previous presentations and a journal club resource

Presentations from the previous Annual Scientific Meetings of the Difficult Airway Society are available; going back to 1995.

 

The National Tracheostomy Safety Project website contains links to training videos, emergency management algorithms and e- learning modules.

The RICON project (Risk over network) project aims to improve patient safety within the Critical care network by allowing different units to share problems and best practice. The site contains videos, presentations, articles, audit information and linsk to national standards.
